Nick Hobbs
Before attending college, Nick worked on construction projects in Alaska and in the Southeast that laid the foundation for a growing career in building materials. A Georgia Tech grad, he began his professional career as a CPA in Arthur Andersen's Consulting Division (now called Accenture). He learned the building materials business at The Home Depot during the company's rapid growth in the 1990s where he managed the financial systems and designed the systems to support installed sales, special orders, and the ProDesk. In 2010, he founded Via Viridis to support sustainable building and living in the Southeast.
The company now serves the entire United States.
Lisa Grant Vail
Building on her design and real estate experience rehabbing and re-selling over a dozen homes, Lisa co-authored the book Creating Curb Appeal and has been featured on the popular green design blog Jetson Green, The Atlanta Journal Constitution, MSN.com and Realtor Magazine. Her sustainable modern home, which features several of Via Viridis’ products, was honored with the Earthcraft Platinum Project of the Year in 2012. Lisa is also a Realtor with Atlanta Communities, and a designer/renovator specializing in green homes and developments. Her latest renovation is a 1920’s Craftsman in Atlanta’s historic Ormewood Park.
